Enrollment Eligibility

Thank you for choosing Community Service Credit Union.  All applications are subject to membership eligibility verification.  This application process should take approximately 10 minutes.  You will need the following items:

  • Valid Driver's License, State Issued ID, Military ID, or Passport
  • Social Security Number (SSN) or Tax Identification Number (TIN)
  • Debit Card, Credit Card, or Routing Number and Account Number from a different financial institution

Accounts for minors and business accounts must be opened at one of our branches and require specific documentation.


Important Information About Opening a New Account

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, US Federal law requires financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. 

What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you.  We may also ask for your driver's license or other identifying documents.

You authorize the credit union to check your account, credit and employment history, and obtain reports from third parties, including ChexSystems, eFunds Qualifile, FIS ID Verification, and Equifax Consumer Reports, to verify your eligibility for the accounts and services you request.
